Violin Trial Lessons
Do you or your child wish to play the violin? If your answer is “yes” contact us and sign up for a trial lesson. This is the best way to find out if your child is ready for piano lessons. It also provides an opportunity to get to know your teacher. It is important that your child feels comfortable and “connects” with the instructor. This will also give the parents a good sense if Sparkling Art Piano is a good match for their family. Please note that our piano trial lessons are one time per child and adult. Give us a call or email us to schedule your trial lesson. If you need to reschedule or cancel your trial lesson, we would appreciate it if you could let us know 24 hours in advance.
Our trial lessons are $25 for 30 minutes and the payment needs to be provided prior to the trial lesson.
Registration
There is a non-refundable annual registration fee of $35 due at the time of initial registration. The registration fee must be paid prior to the first lesson in order to reserve a time and day. Without the registration fee the lesson is not confirmed.
Tuition, Fees and Policy
Our violin lessons are designed for all ages. We recommend that the length of the lessons increases based on the age and skill level of the student. Violin lessons are held weekly on Wednesdays and Mondays. We offer 8 weeks and 4 weeks packages. Payments are conveniently drafted from your credit card on the first day of your session. You will then go into our automatic billing system for all future payments. However, you will be notified with an invoice before we charge your next payment to your credit card. We offer a 5% per sibling discount. The discount cannot be applied to Art or Music Together Classes.

Withdrawal from piano classes
In order to cancel your piano lessons, please let us know in writing/email at least 30 days prior to the last lesson to avoid an automatic payment from your credit card for the next session. Thank you for your understanding!
Cancelation and Makeup piano lessons
If the instructor misses a lesson we will provide a makeup lesson during the session.
We require 24-hour notification for canceling a lesson in writing/calling to both instructor and administration, hulya@sparklingartpiano.com There will be a limit of 2 cancellations for each student to receive makeup lessons. If a student does not show up or not give a 24-hour notification, the student will not receive a makeup lesson. This is the policy for both Online and In-Person students NO EXCEPTION.
Missed lessons cannot be extended to the following session to make up the missed lessons due to traveling, sports games, other practices, family events, birthday parties, or illness.
If a student misses a lesson with a 24-hour notification there will be 3 ways to make up the lesson.
1. If the student is at home and available but has no access to come to the studio during the scheduled lesson time, we will have a video call and teach online (via Zoom or Face Time). This option also can be applied to another date/time depending on the teacher’s availability.
2. A short video lesson made by the teacher which will give the student an understanding of what would be the next assignments, the hand position, any new subject in the homework, and expectations.
3. If the instructor has an opening due to another cancelation during the session we let you know the availability. If the student is available at that time we will schedule an in-person or online makeup lesson. However, this option will not be carried forward to the following session.
Make-up lessons are always challenging to schedule for both teachers because of their set schedules and school administration not to impact operations. Thank you for your understanding.
